With such a limited time to wear sandals in summer, thinking of boots seems like a fashion crime, but leave it to retailers such as Browns and suddenly you can’t wait to cover up your toes.  I love my open toed sandals and bright pedicure, but give me a pair of tall leather equestrian boots and I’m ready to jump into the leaves.  Something about the sleek and classic look with a pair of tights, a cozy jacket and a pumpkin latte from Starbucks says “bring on fall”.
