If you’re familiar with the Toronto fashion scene then you have definitely heard of our holiday Get Gorgeous Sessions guest who is a powerhouse blogger, small business owner, localist-at-large and style maven – the ever so lovely Gracie Carroll of GracieCarroll.com. We were excited to spend the day talking and shopping with her at Upper Canada Mall and was definitely a girl hang through and through!
We’ve been avid fans of her blog since the very beginning and totally look forward to her pieces in Flare Magazine each month (she’s the Toronto Localist-at-Large), getting tidbits on what will make us the epitome of a chic canuck (ha, ha!). Have you perused her online boutique lately? It’s filled with quirky goods and beautiful pieces from across the country, carefully curated by tastemakers who love fashion and Canada.
Our day was spent perusing the goods at Zara, Browns Shoes, M for Mendocino and Danier looking for just the right party outfits we could wear for this time of the season: the holidays. When we asked Gracie to pick two looks that we could rock in the impending cold weather but still look like Christmas style stars, can you guess what we found out? Well, forget everything you’re traditionally supposed to wear to parties. We should have known, right?
Gracie’s looks combined everything that we loved: elegance, bling and rock’n’roll! She compiled an outfit we could wear to the most epic party and another that we could rock from the office to the office party with ease. When we say these are must-sees, we mean it. So get ready to wear white after Labour Day, find out why your new style obsession is going to be Chloe Sevigny and how to achieve the perfect, classic red lip. So grab a pen, start making that list and watch our interview to get ready and deck the halls in style this holiday season at Upper Canada Mall. (Scroll down to watch it now)
